The 2026 Mendi 9s has officially wrapped up, and what an incredible weekend of rugby league, entertainment and community spirit at Brothers Leagues Club in Townsville!

From 2-4 October 2026, we welcomed 30 teams and more than 500 players from across Queensland and beyond, competing across three divisions for a share of $50,000 in prize money.

From thrilling matches and last-minute tries to unforgettable grand final finishes, the 2026 carnival delivered another huge weekend both on and off the field.

A massive thank you to our teams, officials, volunteers, sponsors, supporters and everyone who helped make this year's event possible. Your continued support is what makes the Mendi 9s so special.
